Zombie Head Unwrap -Second Attempt at Uv Unwrapping a Face

This is the Second Attempt at UV Unwrapping with a face. This is much better then my first attempts as there isnt any overlaps. Been able to learn it after being in lesson

First Attempts at UV UnWrap

As I didnt know how to properly unwrap a head at this poin in time I needed to learn more in this specific area of texturing. Unfortunately I few errors occurred but overall I like my first stage attempts at doing this.

Final Colour Turnaround

FINAL Colour Turn-Around for Character Project Plan. I think it looks more sophisticated but still has a cartoon theme to the character. Overall I think the i'll be able to used this turn-around in my Creation of a 3D Character

Turn Arounds First Draft

With this stage of the work, I will define the line art more and then colour them to bring some true colour to him. I think I could do a lot with this character design especially as ive made him more sophisticated by adding more detail in all the design, anatomy and colours.

Reference Material for Alien Adaptation and Creation

EWventhough being from two compelte genres I will try and use the same theme as the one from toy story and make the alien proportionally weird (not as much exaggeration (well it is meant to be a toy)) and make him lovable but create more finesse and detail in the character closer to the alien from alien vs predator (in levels of sophistication).

Cartoon to Sophistication

Now that we've done UVW wrapping and texturing which was an expect of modelling we might not of learnt this year, we have the option to create a more sophisticate model.

I'll be taking this oppurtunity and be developing my character further so they overall look better and are more realistic in a sense

Character in Colour Design

This is the first design of the character I did for when the colourwas designed to be a lot more cartoonistic and was meant to be more simple. Looking back at this, I don't think there was much I could do with this so im glad ive made this more sophisticated now in my designs

Better views of the first design pictures i've drawn. These were my inital stages in my sketchbook and eventhough you can't actually see them  properly I do think these were a good tart for myself in designing this character

Little Monster Development Work

Little Monster Character. To work of plains and references is actually auite easy and eventhough this isnt perfect, I grasp the concept of this inital stage.

Archibald Back Story

Character Name: Archibald Fezzaburts
Age: 15
Back Story:  Archibald was born into a family where his father was an evil sinister Doctor, Dr Earl Fezzaburts. Dr Earl was known across the planet as being an evil guy who stole big priced items such as the Diamond of Pearl's Goodness. Dr Earl was evil towards everyone apart from his wife, Sally and his son, Archibald. The family all loved each other and when Earl was home, the3y had a good time and acted like a proper father. So Archibald and his mother both loved him and seen him for the good he was.

When Earl was 6, unfortunately, one day came where the father was creating a potion in which he could become invisible but it went terribly wrong and he died. Left in turmoil, Archibald and his mother were very upset but the people in the local city didn't care and started treated them like crap and said Earl got what he deserved, that means they did and didn't get any help from the locals. Fortunately his father had left a lot of money for them so they could survive.

9 years later, Earl is starting his 4th year in high school. He hates just for the general fact that no one talks to him and everyone talks behind his back. He always gets told off from the tutors and bullied by his peers as he's the Son of Dr Earl Fezzaburts. Determined not to take an evil road path, he really wants to show he can do something so starts inventing equipment and stuff which could maybe help the locals and other local cities. Not recognised, he just carries on making more stuff until his room is full of useless equipment.

The story starts where a new teacher and his daughter come to the school as they've just moved. Archibald just leaves him and her alone but hey actually talk to him and treat him normally so he gets very happy.....

Fish 3D Model

This si the Fish we had to model using templates on planes. I personally think this went quite well as it does look like a low poly fish.

I think the reason I didnt understand this one as much, The knife especially seemed to not work. I will come back on to this model and improve it when I get the time essentially to

Skip Creation

I think this was one of my better 3D models as looks realistic, not counting textures. Happy with this creation overall

Creation of Anvil and Base

Creation of my Anvil and the Base of it. The render of the anvil base makes it look like I missed some polygons when actually the render lighted it this way so you couldnt see it.

Two models created using Spline Modelling

I created these using the spline modelling tool. Forgot some of the features of spline modelling unfortunately so I couldn't create a fork or knife in the end. I do think I could of made the screwdriver look more like the one from the picture.

2nd Assignment- Design a Robot

Haly way through my Robot Model, this is where I was standing without the detail

Right Perspective of the model afteri've turbo-smooothed it and finished off all the finer details

This si the Right Perspective of the Turbo-Smoothed Final Model

Front Perspective of Final Turbo-Smoothed Model
For this project we had to design a robot from either are ouw designs or from a previous robot model that has been designed and modelled in either 2D or 3D. I decided to create myown design as I think its easier to create something of your imagniation rather then something that already exist. I find this because its like your working to a strict criteria while your own design isn't.

Robot 1 Development

Non Smoothed Picture of First Developed Robot from Class. This is the generic shape of the robot, before I smoothed it.

This is the smoothed version of the Robot. I again liked this version of the robot as I think it looks quite effective from the use of the tools and techniques we had learnt.
In this post, i'll be talking about the different techniques we learnt in class to create a tin robot
